Disconnect Internet connection
1. Before start installing the program, you have the following options:
Run disable_activation.cmd as Administrator.
Or - Add the following lines to your hosts file(%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts):
127.0.0.1 cap.cyberlink.com
127.0.0.1 activation.cyberlink.com
2. Make sure you did the above properly to prevent online check.
3. Install the program executing Setup in the app folder. (As Admin)
4. Run the program, if it hasn't upgraded to Platinum yet, run the backup patch.
Note: After installing and disabling online check it should be Platinum.
If so, there's no need for the patching.
5. Don't go online neither fill out the online registration form.
6. Done! Enjoy it..............................
